The advances in wireless communication technologies and the proliferation of mobile devices have enabled the realization of intelligent environments for people to communicate with each other, interact with information-processing devices, and receive a wide range of mobile wireless services through various types of networks and systems everywhere, anytime. The aim of the annual International Conference on Wireless Communications and Applications (ICWCA 2011) is to provide a forum that brings together researchers from academia as well as practitioners from industry to meet and exchange ideas and recent research work on all aspects of wireless communication networks.

All accepted papers will be included in the printed and electronic ICWCA 2011 Conference Proceedings to be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST) Series.
